2023年ホテルアンテルーム「Gallery 9.5 NAHA」にて仮想ネットワークを題材とした現代人に起こる社会問題を定義した「空虚と時　Emptiness And Time」を終え、2024年の小山大地の個展では、日本の伝統とフランスとモロッコを旅した際の国際的なインスピレーションを融合させ、コンテンポラリーの新鮮で境界のない声を持つミックスメディア作品を展示しています。彼はスケーター/アーティストのルーツからの進化と沖縄での育ちに深いつながりを示し、現在の世界的な政治的風景とそれとエゴ、未来の技術時代の不確実性との関係を探求する作品を発表しています。彼の作品はこれらのテーマにコメントを加えつつ、スケーターとクリエイターとしての彼の本質の無邪気さと反逆心を保持しています。

“After concluding the exhibition “Emptiness And Time” at Gallery 9.5 NAHA in 2023, which addressed contemporary societal issues arising from virtual networks, Daichi Koyama’s solo exhibition in 2024 showcases mixed media works that blend Japanese tradition with international inspirations from his travels in France and Morocco. His works present a fresh, boundary-less contemporary voice. Demonstrating a deep connection to his evolution from a skater/artist and his upbringing in Okinawa, Koyama’s works explore the relationship between the current global political landscape, ego, and the uncertainties of the future technological era. His art comments on these themes while maintaining the innocence and rebellious spirit inherent in his essence as a skater and creator.”
